Resilience for the Future, Adaptability for Innovation: JUFE Students Shine at International Academic Exchange Event

Recently, the 2026 International Postgraduate Conference and Research Forum (IPCRF) was held at The Education University of Hong Kong. Zhou Yitong, a 2024-level graduate student in Sociology, and Song Yu, a 2024-level MSW student, from JUFE School of Sociology and Humanities, participated under the supervision of Associate Dean Hong Lumin and delivered active presentations.

The forum theme, "Resilience and Adaptability: Cultivating Global Citizens for Sustainable Development," resonates with JUFE's "Digitalization, Greening, and Internationalization" strategy. It brought together renowned scholars and graduate students worldwide to discuss artificial intelligence, language education, mental health, and sustainable development.

Song Yu presented "A Study on the Pathways of Social Identity Construction for New Employment Groups from the Perspective of Psychological Capital Theory," focusing on the social identity dilemmas of new employment groups and constructing a multidimensional social identity cultivation system.

Zhou Yitong presented "A Study on Delivery Riders' Occupational Diseases in the ESG Practices of Food Delivery Platforms," proposing that platform governance should shift from risk compensation to risk prevention and integrate riders' occupational health protection into the platform governance system.

Their presentations responded to the forum's cutting-edge issues and reflected the School's research orientation of grounding work in reality and addressing social problems. This exchange stands as a vivid practice of JUFE's internationalization efforts and engagement with global academic frontiers.
