JUFE Sets Up AI-Capable Instructor Team

On September 1, JUFE held the inauguration ceremony, officially establishing the university-level AI-Capable Instructor Team. The event defined the development goals, work tasks and guarantee mechanisms of the team to facilitate JUFE’s digital teaching upgrade. Yuan Honglin, Vice President, attended the ceremony and delivered an address.

Yuan Honglin pointed out that accelerating AI-enabled development is an urgent requirement for universities in the new era. To address such challenges as limited coverage and insufficient integration depth of AI teaching on campus, JUFE has formulated and issued the Implementation Plan for the Development of JUFE's AI-Capable Instructor Team (2026-2027), building a three-dimensional work system featuring “seed incubation, tiered dissemination, and empowerment for all staff”. Meanwhile, Yuan Honglin put forward three expectations for members of the Instructor Team. First, keep learning and thinking, strive for progress through down-to-earth work, and continuously update AI expertise and practical application skills. Second, pursue integrated innovation and empowerment, delve into teaching, and explore actionable and replicable practical AI teaching plans based on JUFE’s strengths in finance and economics education. Third, uphold fundamental principles while pursuing innovation, perform duties in a standardized manner, strictly uphold the bottom line of AI ethics and security, actively offer suggestions, and help the university improve its institutional system for digital teaching management. JUFE will provide solid support for the group to carry out its work through supporting measures including special funds and performance incentives.
