Professor Claire Mathews from Massey University, New Zealand, Visits JUFE

On June 22, Professor Claire Mathews, Dean of the College of Business, Law, and Marketing at Massey University, New Zealand, visited Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE) for a symposium and discussions on expanding academic collaboration. Yuan Honglin, Vice President of JUFE, delivered a welcoming address. The meeting was attended by representatives from JUFE’s School of Accounting, School of Finance, and College of Study Abroad.

On behalf of JUFE, Yuan Honglin extended a warm welcome to Professor Claire Mathews and briefly introduced JUFE’s history, academic strengths, recent institutional developments, and achievements in international education. He noted that the partnership between JUFE and Massey University dates back to 2007 and has continued to grow over nearly two decades through expanded student and faculty exchanges and a broadening range of collaborative programs. He expressed his hope that this visit would serve as an opportunity to further strengthen cooperation between the two universities, particularly in areas such as joint degree and talent development programs, collaborative research, faculty exchanges, and other academic initiatives. He also emphasized the importance of identifying new opportunities for partnership and building an even stronger foundation for education and cultural exchange.

Professor Mathews expressed her gratitude to JUFE for its warm hospitality, and introduced Massey University and the progress of its Colleges of Business, Law, and Marketing.She emphasized that Massey University highly values its exchange and cooperation with JUFE. She expressed her hope that this visit would further deepen the friendship between the two universities while expanding collaboration in faculty exchanges, student mobility programs, scientific research, and other academic partnerships.
