On the morning of May 15, the inaugural meeting of the Jiangxi Provincial Regional and Country Studies Alliance was held at JUFE. More than 120 leaders, guests, experts, and scholars from relevant departments within and outside the province, as well as from universities in Jiangxi, jointly witnessed the alliance’s establishment. The alliance aims to promote the coordinated development of regional and country studies, discipline building, talent cultivation, think tank services, and international communication, providing intellectual support for serving national strategies and Jiangxi’s high-level opening-up.

The establishment of the Jiangxi Provincial Regional and Country Studies Alliance has garnered high-level attention from academic communities across the country. The University Alliance for Talent Cultivation and Discipline Building in Regional and Country Studies, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Alliance for Regional and Country Studies, the Regional and Country Studies from Zhejiang Province, Shanghai, and Fujian Province have all sent congratulatory letters, expressing their warm congratulations on the establishment of the alliance and conveying their high expectations for the advancement of regional and country studies in Jiangxi.

Subsequently, the relevant leaders and guests jointly pressed the launch button, officially marking the establishment of the alliance.

The alliance was jointly initiated by twelve universities, including JUFE and Nanchang University. Vice President Yuan Honglin from JUFE serves as the chairman of the alliance’s first council.
