Associate Professor He Fan’s research team from the School of Public Finance and Taxation has achieved a series of high-quality research outcomes in the field of income distribution and inequality, focusing on the major national strategic demand of "advancing common prosperity". Relevant papers have been published (including online) in prestigious domestic and international journals such as Statistical Research, China Economic Quarterly, Journal of Quantitative & Technological Economics, and Journal of Comparative Economics.

The team focuses on the full-life cycle income distribution system of "Pre-allocation, primary distribution, and redistribution." From multiple dimensions such as tax policies, health interventions, trade openness, and industry standards, it systematically explores how public policies influence equal opportunities, redistribution, and social equity, providing solid theoretical support and decision-making references for advancing Chinese modernization.

In addition to the above-mentioned academic achievements, the research by Associate Professor He Fan's team has also received multiple provincial and ministerial awards, including the First Prize in the 21st Outstanding Social Science Achievement Awards of Jiangxi Province and the Second Prize in the 14th Outstanding Social Science Achievement Awards of Hubei Province.
