Recently, three dual bachelor's degree interdisciplinary talent cultivation programs proposed by JUFE—"Digital Economy + Computer Science and Technology," "International Economics and Trade + Artificial Intelligence," and "Information and Computing Science + Economics"—have been approved for establishment by the Jiangxi Provincial Academic Degrees Committee. This marks another breakthrough in the construction of JUFE's interdisciplinary talent cultivation system, following the approval of the first two programs, "Law + Finance" and "Business Administration + Data Science and Big Data Technology," in 2024. To date, JUFE has secured approval for a total of five dual bachelor's degree programs, signifying that the JUFE has entered a new phase of systematic advancement in the deep integration of new liberal arts and new engineering disciplines, as well as in the cultivation of interdisciplinary talents. It also provides a new implementation pathway for JUFE's "re-industry" talent cultivation strategy.

In terms of implementation, JUFE has already established a solid foundation. The first two dual bachelor's degree programs have been running smoothly and receiving positive feedback since their enrollment began in 2025. Starting in 2026, all five programs will be integrated into the national college entrance examination enrollment system, with each program planning to admit 50 students. JUFE will achieve the high-quality educational goal of "integrated design, cross-departmental cultivation, and dual-degree conferment" through customized training plans, collaborative cultivation across faculties, and the joint development of interdisciplinary courses.

The recent approval further enriches JUFE's undergraduate talent cultivation model, providing students with more diverse growth options. Guided by the principle of "three deep integrations," JUFE will continue to optimize mechanisms, strengthen support measures, and enhance the quality and effectiveness of dual bachelor's degree programs. The aim is to cultivate more high-quality talents with solid professional foundations and interdisciplinary innovation capabilities, thereby providing robust support for national and regional economic and social development.

In response to the urgent demand for interdisciplinary and innovative talents driven by economic and social development, JUFE has continuously deepened the reform of talent cultivation models and promoted the convergence and integration of disciplines and majors, guided by the "2363" overall framework. The newly added programs focus on cutting-edge interdisciplinary fields such as "data + technology," "economics and management + intelligence," and "mathematics and science + economics." These initiatives not only expand the disciplinary coverage of dual bachelor's degree programs but also aim to break down disciplinary barriers, promote the restructuring of knowledge frameworks, and cultivate students' "re-industry" capabilities to address the demands of future industrial development.
