School of Design and Art's Industry-Academia Collaboration Achievement Honored as Outstanding Case in 2025 National University Rural Art Construction

Recently, the 2025 Annual Conference of the Rural Art Construction Committee of the University Alliance for Rural Construction and the 3rd National Forum on University Rural Art Construction were held at the ASEAN Art Center of Chengdu University. The industry-academia collaboration project "Building a Rural Living Community in Dali Huaqiao," submitted by the team led by Dr. Luo Xuan from the School of Design and Art, was selected as one of the 30 Outstanding Cases in the 2025 National University Rural Art Construction initiative.

It is reported that the annual selection of outstanding cases for the Rural Art Construction Achievements Exhibition attracted widespread attention from universities across the country. Over 300 entries from 182 universities were submitted. After a rigorous selection process, 216 high-quality works from 56 universities were shortlisted for the exhibition, with 30 projects standing out and being honored as "Outstanding Cases in National University Rural Art Construction." Taking this award as a new starting point, the School of Design and Art will continue to deepen its practice in rural art construction, improve the long-term mechanism of "university-local collaboration and industry-academia-research integration," promote the implementation of more innovative design achievements, and fully contribute to rural revitalization.
