JUFE Signs Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Jiangxi Branch of China UnionPay Co., Ltd.

On the afternoon of October 23, the signing ceremony for the comprehensive cooperation agreement between JUFE and Jiangxi Branch of China UnionPay Co., Ltd. was held. Liu Yaobin, Secretary of JUFE Party Committee, Li Chungen, Vice President of JUFE, Tong Zhichen, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Jiangxi Branch of China UnionPay Co., Ltd., and Yi Qiao, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of the branch, attended the signing ceremony. Li Chungen presided over the ceremony.

In his speech, Liu Yaobin extended a warm welcome to Tong Zhichen and his delegation, and expressed gratitude to Jiangxi Branch of China UnionPay Co., Ltd. for its long-term support for the development of JUFE. He briefly introduced JUFE's achievements in running the school and reviewed the progress of cooperation between the two parties. He pointed out that deepening university-enterprise cooperation is not only an important opportunity for the university to gather social resources and improve the quality of school running, but also a responsibility to serve the national strategy and empower the development of Jiangxi. In the future, the two parties will take the construction of campus financial informatization as the starting point, the new-type think tank as the platform, and the cutting-edge research topics as the link to help the iteration of industry technology application and model innovation, inject strong impetus into the high-quality development of finance in Jiangxi, and jointly write a wonderful chapter of university-bank coordination and joint promotion of development.

In his speech, Tong Zhichen expressed sincere thanks to JUFE for its long-term support and the hard work of the teams from both parties. He pointed out that as a bank card association approved by the People's Bank of China, China UnionPay has been deeply engaged in the payment field for more than 20 years and has made remarkable achievements in the interconnection of payment services, the layout of international networks, and the cultivation of national bank card brands. This cooperation between the two parties will focus on building three platforms, namely "joint cultivation of professional talents", "joint promotion of scientific research and innovation" and "shared technical resources", to further promote the in-depth integration of industry, university and research as well as the complementarity of advantages, and effectively refine the cooperation blueprint into specific projects and transform it into practical results.

In his presiding remarks, Li Chungen said that it is expected that with this cooperation as a new starting point, the university will fully rely on the high-quality resources and platform advantages of the cooperative party in the fields of financial technology and digital transformation, deeply connect the needs of the university in discipline construction, scientific research and innovation, and talent cultivation, contribute more targeted financial and economic strength to the high-quality economic and social development of Jiangxi Province, and realize the mutually beneficial win-win and coordinated development of the two parties.

Li Chungen and Yi Qiao signed the comprehensive cooperation agreement on behalf of the two parties respectively.
