2024 JUFE International Summer Camp and 2024 Sino-American Youth People-to-People Cultural Exchange Program Opened

On 30 June, the 2024 JUFE International Summer Camp and 2024 Sino-American Youth People-to-People Cultural Exchange Program hosted by the China Scholarship Council and the Jiangxi Education Department and undertaken by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics officially opened. Vice President Fang Yuming, Deputy Director of Office of Foreian Affairs of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province Li Yuqiang, Jiangxi Education Department second level inspector Lei Jiehua, Jiangxi Education Department International Division Director Wu Zowen, Office of Foreian Affairs of the People's Government of Jiangxi Province Tao Qin was present, and Department of Student Affairs, International Cooperation and Exchange Office, School of Humanities, International school attended the opening ceremony.



Fang Yuming said in his speech that the international summer camp has been a traditional project of JUFE's foreign exchange activities. This summer camp as the first offline exchange activities after the epidemic, the scale is more than ever, he hope that the campers return to their home countries to share more of what they see, hear and feel in Jiangxi, to do the Chinese and foreign cultural exchanges of the messenger. He hope that campers will continue to enhance their feelings and friendship in the future, and work together to inject positive energy and contribute new momentum for the future development of Sino-foreign friendship.



Li Yuqiang and Lei Jiehua awarded the flag to the campers. Emily from Brigham Young University, USA and Qiao Zhuang from Hanoi Normal University, Vietnam spoke as campers' representatives.

 


This summer camp lasts for 10 days, and 54 participants from the United States, Russia, Britain, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and other countries are invited to participate. During the activity period, the campers will learn Chinese language and culture and understand China's development achievements through theme lectures and talent experience on the campus of JUFE; they will also go to Lushan, Wuyuan, Jingdezhen and other places to experience the historical heritage and contemporary style of the land of Gan Poyang.

 


In the future, JUFE will continue to pool high-quality higher education resources to enhance Sino-foreign humanistic exchanges, especially youth exchanges between China and the U.S., provide talent support, intellectual support, and further integrate into the building of a community of human destiny to contribute to the power of JUFE.
