JUFE delegation attended the 25th EAIE Annual Conference

  From 10-13 September 2013, the 25th EAIE (European Association of International Education) Annual Conference was held in Istanbul, Turkey. JUFE delegation (Ms. LV Saiju and Miss WANG Jianglu, both are from Office of International Coorperation and Exchange), the only delegation in Jiangxi Province, attended EAIE and brought fruitful feedback.
  Founded in 1989, as a non-profit and member-led organization, the EAIE is the acknowledged European leadership centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. This year’s theme is “Waving the Future of Partnership”.
In 2013, EAIE attracted over 4000 educators from more than 80 countries and regions, discussing together the problems, difficulties, challenges and opportunities of the international education.
  During the conference, ,JUFE delegation got in touch with over 40 universities from America, UK, Ireland, Germany, France, Swiss, Finland, Turkey, Chile etc, exchanged the publicity materials, understood each other’s cooperation intention, discussed the cooperation mode. To develop the overseas students program, promote the international JUFE’s reputation around the world and attract more overseas students, the delegation energetically introduce JUFE to foreign universities from all aspects including education background and history, gaols, achievements, characteristics and international cooperation intention and set up the initial cooperation intention with 15 universities.
  After the EAIE conference, JUFE delegation attended Sino-Greek Seminar on Higher Education in Athens, Greece. Representatives from both countries’ universities exchange views on cooperation and development of international education and have strong desires on strengthening communicating platform in both depth and width. During the seminar, Ms. LV Saiju delivered a short speech on JUFE’s brief introduction to more than 10 Greek universities and emphasis that we truly hope to initially develop teachers and students exchange programs in Greece.
  Finally, JUFE delegation visited Kozminski University in Warsaw, Poland. Kozminski University, founded in 1993, is a private institution of higher education with full academic rights and is the only business school in Poland accredited by all three of the most prestigious accrediting insitutions in the world: EQUIS, AACSB and AMBAand only 5% of business schools from around the world hold all three. After hearing that JUFE is the top 5 universities in economics and management, President Dr. Andrzej K. Kozminski showed strong interest in cooperative education. Up to now, this project is in follow up.
