Chen Shifa obtained a doctoral degree in the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC in 2001 and now is a professor, doctoral supervisor and the dean of the School of Marxism Studies, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

He has published nearly 100 papers in important academic journals on his own or as the first author, including CPC History Studies, Xinhua Digest, Truth Seeking, Guangming Daily, Red Flag Manuscript and the Leading Journal of Ideological and Theoretical Education. He has won six scientific research awards at provincial level or above. His paper titled “The Main Measures and Enlightenment of the Popularization of Marxism in the Central Soviet Area” was selected by the national theoretical seminar on commemorating the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China jointly organized by eight ministries and committees, such as the Organization Department and the Publicity Department.
