1. Introduction

Basic Information:

Xiong Bingjiao is an associate professor of Translation Studies at the School of Foreign Languages, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and currently a Council Member of the Translators Association of Jiangxi Province. Under the guidance of Professor Xie Tianzhen, she obtained her PhD in Translation Studies from Shanghai International Studies University in 2009. She did her research as a visiting scholar at the Faculty of English Language and Literature at Oxford University between 2018 and 2019.  

Research Directions: Translation Theory, Literary Translation History, and Translations of Foreign Literature in Modern China

MA Students: Theories in Western Translation Studies, Academic Research Methodology and Writing, Translation of Writings for Specific Purposes
