1. Introduction

Basic Information:

Tu Niangen, male, was born in Nanchang County, Jiangxi Province in November 1978. He earned his doctoral degree in Literature at Jiangxi Normal University, and since then has been engaged in the study of narratology and comparative literature. He is currently an associate professor and MA supervisor in the School of Foreign Languages of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. His first academic monograph, A Study of Narrative Gap, was published in October 2017 and listed in the Social Sciences Library of Jiangxi Province. He won the 18th Outstanding Achievement Award of Philosophy and Social Sciences of Jiangxi Province in October 2019.

Tu Niangen is a music and film lover. In his spare time, he often listens to music, sings and plays the guitar. Every evening he watches a movie for half an hour before going to sleep.

From September 2018 to July 2019, he studied in Renmin University of China as a visiting scholar under the support of the project Light of the West of the CPC Organization Department.
