Advocating the international education concept “students are masters of learning”, the International School of JUFE is committed to cultivating high-quality talents in economic management with an international vision.

Over the past 17 years, the school has witnessed the upgrading of its educational quality and features. The two majors of CFA and International Investment and Finance gained accreditation by the CFA Institute, and the major of International Accounting received academic degree attestation by CPA Australia.

The school pursues constant improvements in teaching as evidenced by its evaluation process changing from “the final exam decides all” to a model combining final exam scores, attendance, quizzes, and presentations. The school not only develops oral tests for students and provides a simulation of the IELTS speaking module, but also encourages students to take an active role in the teaching process. Furthermore, the school has introduced Dr. Michael Williams from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and Dr. Randall Rojas, a counselor from Harvard University, to lecture our students.

Regarding international cooperation and exchange, the school has built cooperation with the Study Abroad Foundation (SAF) and expanded the channels of admission to prestigious overseas universities. Currently, the school is entitled to conduct its exchange programs in more than 50 prestigious universities including Columbia University and Oxford University. The school has also built a high-end platform for internships with the Washington Center (TWC). With the platform in place, students enjoy the opportunity to go to Washington for a 14-week internship and course study through the Ford Program, the International Leaders Award Program, and the President's Program. Additionally, the school has established partnerships with London School of Economics and Political Science, University College London, University of Auckland, and Wilfrid Laurier University.

The school has been exerting unremitting efforts in internationalization. It aims to help students to gain an international vision with seven themed activities including the Global Festival and Model United Nations(MUN). It has also stepped up efforts to combine activities with students’ knowledge by building discipline competition centers and scientific research groups.

The students from the International School have obtained multiple awards in such national and international competitions as “King of Job-hunting”, a Chinese Contest held by the Association of International Accountants, BNP Paribas Ace Manager Challenge, IIBD International Business Case Competition, the National English Contest for College Students (NECCS), the Business Case Competition held by the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, CIMA Global Business Challenge, etc.

By the end of July 2019, the number of graduates reached 5931. 40% of them went overseas for exchanges or study or to pursue their master’s or doctoral degrees while 45% of them worked in the fields of financial service or business at home or abroad.

At present, the school, with a broadening mind, is establishing and deepening its cooperation and exchanges with the international community and global universities in a broader context. This is how the school achieves innovation and development in the internationalization of higher education.
