Recently, upon the invitation of Humanities & Social Sciences Communications (HSSC), a journal under the Nature portfolio, Professor Xiong Jiacai, Vice Dean of the International College, has officially joined the journal's editorial board.

Humanities & Social Sciences Communications stands as Nature's sole sub-journal dedicated to the humanities and social sciences, committed to publishing high-quality interdisciplinary research across humanities, social sciences, and behavioral sciences. Indexed in both A&HCI and SSCI, the journal holds significant international influence in humanities and social sciences. It is ranked in the Q1 category of the JCR Social Sciences section and recognized as a Tier 1 journal in the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) classification for the humanities.
