In recent years, the School of Accounting has actively responded to the JUFE's call for the "Three Modernizations" initiative. By proactively planning the digital intelligence transformation of its programs, JUFE has introduced specialized directions such as Intelligent Accounting and established a postgraduate training focus on Big Data + Management Accounting. These efforts have significantly enhanced the digital intelligence capabilities of talent cultivation, earning widespread recognition from society.
Recently, the China Business Accounting Institute announced the 2024 Outstanding Achievement Awards for Undergraduate Institutions. The teaching achievement titled A New Model for Cultivating Digital Intelligence Talent in Accounting: "Resource Foundation, Platform Support, and Digital Empowerment", led by Professor Zhou Donghua and his team from the School of Accounting, was honored with the Special Prize for Outstanding Teaching Achievements (only 5 awards nationwide). Additionally, the textbook Financial Big Data Analysis and Decision-Making, co-authored by Zhou Donghua and Dr. Zhao Tianyu, received the sole Special Prize for Outstanding Teaching Materials.
The 2024 Outstanding Achievement Awards for Undergraduate Institutions, organized by the China Business Accounting Institute, aim to promote educational reform and ideological-political curriculum development in higher education while elevating the quality of undergraduate programs. The awards cover outstanding works, papers, research reports, teaching achievements, teaching materials, and teaching teams. This year's competition attracted submissions from numerous universities across China. After a rigorous review process, 83 achievements were selected, including 12 Special Prizes, 24 First Prizes, and 47 Second Prizes.
