On March 23rd, the founding ceremony of the JUFE Alumni Association Law Chapter and the thematic forum "Cross-Industry Integration, Digital Empowerment, and Co-building a New Future for the Legal Ecosystem" were held at our university. President Deng Hui, Vice President Li Chungen, and other leaders joined alumni representatives and legal experts and scholars from across the country to witness the establishment of the Law Chapter and engaged in in-depth discussions on the digital transformation of the legal industry and the co-construction of the ecosystem.
President Deng Hui and Law Chapter Chairperson Zhang Guoxuan jointly unveiled the "JUFE Alumni Association Law Chapter." Alumni Ms. Lu Xiaomei presented her monograph Research on China's Sports Legal Issues, which encapsulates her years of professional insights, to the Law School.
President Deng Hui systematically expounded the significant significance of establishing the Law Chapter and pointed out directions for its operation from four dimensions: more connections, more empowerment, more innovation, and more justice. Chairperson Zhang Guoxuan interpreted the positioning of the Law Chapter from four aspects: a platform for law, a platform for public welfare, an open platform, and a subsidiary platform.
The founding ceremony of the JUFE Alumni Association Law Chapter was presided over by Professor Yi Youlu, Dean of the Law School. Secretary-General Jiang Yuyang of the Law Chapter, on behalf of the preparatory group, reported on the preparatory work of the chapter. Director Xia Xianfeng of the Alumni Liaison Service Center and Secretary-General of the JUFE Alumni Association read out the approval document for the establishment of the Law Chapter and introduced its organizational structure and main member list.
After the founding ceremony of the Law Chapter, the thematic forum "Cross-Industry Integration, Digital Empowerment, and Co-building a New Future for the Legal Ecosystem" was unveiled. The forum was hosted by Zhang Yue, Director of the Management Committee of Shanghai Haihua Yongtai (Nanchang) Law Firm. Seven experts, scholars, and practitioners delivered keynote speeches on topics including digital intelligence technology, cross-industry integration, and the legal ecosystem.
Professor Yu Ling of the Law School provided an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges in the field of anti-monopoly in the digital economy era, offering legal practitioners a transformation blueprint for legal services in the digital economy era. Zheng Minglong, a partner at Beijing Yingke Law Firm, and Wu Jie, a senior partner at Guangdong Mingsi Law Firm, respectively discussed the themes "How Lawyers Can Maintain Their Ground in the AI-Driven Restructuring of Legal Technology" and "Young Lawyers' Response and Growth in the AI + Self-Media Era," providing practical paths for legal professionals to cope with technological changes. Wen Chunsheng, a partner at Shanghai Junyue Law Firm, deeply analyzed the transformation direction of bankruptcy management business from aspects such as the cross-border of bankruptcy administrator lawyers' business scope, the cross-border of bankruptcy administrator subjects, and the cross-border of bankruptcy administrator service objects. Xu Jianghua, a senior partner at Huashang Law Firm, proposed that lawyers in the new era need to build a core competitiveness of "strategic designer + crisis resolver + technical collaborator." Yu Feirong, founding partner of Jiangxi Lingke Anshi Law Firm, explained the resourceful use of data and the development of data compliance business. Jiang Bing, director of Zhejiang Hangming Law Firm, proposed the establishment of a one-stop service of "legal advisor + tax advisor + system empowerment."
Wang Jinhai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission at Jingdezhen Ceramic University, delivered the closing speech of the conference. He encouraged alumni to stay updated on emerging trends, seize business opportunities, and embrace cross-industry collaboration. This event marked a significant initiative by JUFE to strengthen alumni engagement and align academic disciplines with societal needs. The establishment of the Law Chapter and the successful hosting of the Cross-Industry Integration Forum not only provided alumni with a platform for resource sharing and collaboration but also contributed wisdom and practical solutions to the high-quality development of the legal industry. Moving forward, the JUFE Alumni Association Law Chapter will continue to consolidate efforts to foster an open, collaborative, and innovative legal ecosystem
