Financial Consumer Rights Protection Education Campaign Held

To strengthen financial risk awareness and literacy among college students, the "Safeguarding Financial Rights and Interests, Empowering a Better Life" education campaign was held on March 13, 2025 at the Financial Education Demonstration Base of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics (JUFE). The event was guided by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) Jiangxi Bureau and jointly organized by JUFE's Admissions and Career Development Office and the Nanchang Branch of China Merchants Bank.

At the opening ceremony, Vice President Yuan Honglin emphasized that financial literacy is a core competency for modern youth. He urged students to proactively learn financial knowledge, resist high-return scams, practice rational consumption, and act as campus ambassadors for financial security to foster a transparent financial environment.

This event broke away from traditional formats by integrating traditional folk art, digital technology, and interactive gaming to create immersive learning scenarios. Students performed a self-composed "Sanqu Duet" program that humorously unveiled telecom financial fraud traps, while an original financial education song "Sailing Towards the Sun" conveyed rational investment philosophies. The Financial Safety Experience Zone featured various engaging games designed to educate participants about the intricacies of telecom fraud through entertainment. The highlight of the event was the "Financial Intelligence Experience Zone," where students used digital robots, VR facilities, and interactive screens to gain more intuitively understanding of financial knowledge and fraud scenarios.

Xu Zhihui, a National-level Outstanding Financial Education Lecturer from China Merchants Bank Nanchang Branch, conducted scenario-based workshops using real-life cases to address financial risks in campus socializing, internships, and career development.
