Recently, the finals of the 11th "Create the Youth" China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition (Technology Innovation Special) successfully concluded in Wuhan, Hubei, which was co-hosted by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Health Commission, the State Taxation Administration, and the Hubei Provincial People's Government.

After intense competition through the preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, a team from the School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering, guided by Coach Xie Liang, won the national gold medal. This is the only gold award won by undergraduate students nationwide! (Team members: Hao Changsheng, Wu Meng, Liu Mingzheng, Wang Fei, Yang Ke). This marks the second time JUFE has claimed the championship in the national finals of this competition, following Coach Xie Liang's gold medal win at the "Create the Youth" China College Students Entrepreneurship Competition in 2018.

It is reported that the "Create the Youth" series of activities is an important brand for the Communist Youth League to serve youth innovation and entrepreneurship, and it has successfully held eleven sessions to date. This year's special competition set up three categories: Innovation Group, Startup Group, and Growth Group, each with five tracks, including optoelectronics and other next-generation information technology industries, new energy and intelligent connected vehicle industries, medical engineering and life health industries, intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment industries, as well as Beidou, future industries, and others. Since the registration began in June, over 6,000 project teams from across the country have participated. After intense competition through the preliminary, semi-final, and final rounds, a total of 25 projects were awarded gold medals, 49 projects received silver medals, and 75 projects earned bronze medals.
