On November 29, the "2024 Chinese Business School Educational Development Forum and Grand Ceremony," co-hosted by MBA China and Manager Magazine, was successfully held in Beijing. The event, themed "Management Wisdom and Responsibility in the Modernization Process," brought together over 300 participants, including experts and scholars from the political and educational sectors, representatives from business schools, industry leaders, professional research institutions, and mainstream educational media from both domestic and international backgrounds. They gathered to share advanced educational concepts and training models, contributing wisdom and strength to the advancement of business education in China. Professor Hu Haibo, Dean of the School of Business Administration at JUFE, was invited to attend the ceremony and moderated the second round-table forum, which focused on "Talent Selection and Training in New Era Business Schools: Innovations and Practices in Admissions Strategies."
The ceremony prominently announced the 2024 TOP rankings for Chinese business schools, honoring the power of role models. Among the awards, the School of Business Administration (MBA Education School) at JUFE received the "2024 Social Responsibility Public Welfare Brand Award for Chinese Business Schools." Additionally, the JUFE MBA program ranked in the top 50 of the "2024 TOP 100 MBA Programs of Chinese Business Schools," maintaining its position among the top 50 nationwide for six consecutive years. Our collaborative MBA program with the New York Institute of Technology was also recognized in the "2024 TOP 10 Sino-Foreign Cooperative Business Master's Programs," marking its fifth consecutive year on the list. Professor Hu Haibo was awarded the "2024 Outstanding Dean Award for Chinese Business Schools."
This evaluation was jointly launched by MBA China and Manager Magazine and is included in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), making it one of the most authoritative and influential rankings in the field of MBA education in China. The rankings not only reflect the continuous innovation and breakthroughs of Chinese business schools in teaching content, methods, and models, but also deeply showcase the active exploration and significant achievements of Chinese business education in key areas such as globalization, digitalization, and sustainable development, earning high recognition and trust from various sectors of society.
【Introduction to the MBA Program at JUFE】
The School of Business Administration at JUFE originated from the Department of Industrial Economics, established in 1979. It was authorized to confer master's degrees in 1986 and was renamed the School of Business Administration in 1998. In 2010, it received authorization for doctoral degrees in first-level disciplines. In 2014, it was recognized as an advanced collective in the national education system, and in 2017, it obtained the Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation (CAMEA). In 2022, it became the first institution in mainland China to receive the BGA independent international accreditation with a gold medal, and in 2024, it became the only institution among finance and economics schools in mainland China to achieve the QS Stars Business School five-star rating international certification.
The School of Business Administration (MBA Education School) at JUFE obtained the qualification to offer MBA programs in 1997 and EMBA programs in 2009, making it the first MBA training institution in Jiangxi Province and the third batch of MBA training schools nationwide.
The MBA program at the college received a B+ rating (top 25%) in the national inaugural professional degree level evaluation. All five programs within the college's catalog—Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Logistics Management, and Tourism Management—were selected as national first-class undergraduate program construction points. The MBA education leverages the school’s disciplinary, professional, and intellectual advantages to serve the regional economic and social development, highlighting features of innovation and entrepreneurship, Eastern management, and digitalization. After years of development, it has established a strong brand effect characterized by "A benchmark in Jiangxi, a prominent position in Central Region, and a significant impact in China." Currently, it offers programs including Executive Management MBA, Digital Management MBA, Master of Tourism Administration, Sino-American Cooperative MBA, and non-degree training, cultivating nearly 30,000 high-level economic management talents for national social and economic development, many of whom have become the backbone of management in their respective fields.
