On October 21, the Consejo Latino Americano de Escuelas de Administración, (referred to as CLADEA) announced that, following the review at the 59th CLADEA International Conference in 2024, the School of Business Administration has successfully obtained member certification from CLADEA. It officially becomes the first financial and economic university and also the second higher education university in the country to join CLADEA.
CLADEA is an international organization that has been dedicated to education and research in management for over 50 years and is one of the largest networks of business schools in the world. Currently, 280 universities and business schools from 33 countries across the globe are members of CLADEA.
Since 2019, the School of Business Administration has successively become a formal member of three major international business accreditation organizations: AMBA/BGA (September 2019), AACSB (December 2019), and EFMD (EQUIS, June 2022), and passed the BGA international accreditation in February 2022. In addition, the school has joined several international organizations, including the ICRA (a founding member since 2019), the PATA(December 2020), the AAOM(February 2021), the AAPBS(February 2021), the CEEMAN(February 2024), and the PRME Initiative (April 2024), establishing extensive cooperative relationships with top business schools around the world. The school's formal membership in CLADEA as a lifelong member benefits a lot, such as establishing innovative partnerships with CLADEA member schools and jointly conducting academic research projects. The school will also take this opportunity to further strengthen cooperation and exchanges with higher education institutions and enterprises in Latin American countries, contributing to the "three transformations" development strategy of JUFE and continuously offering Chinese management thoughts and wisdom for the healthy development of global business education.
