Lecturer: Ali Kutan, is a Professor Emeritus at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and the Director of the Research and Development Center at the Emerging Markets Association of the United States. He is the current editor-in-chief of Borsa Istanbul Review (SSCI), co-editor of Economic Systems (SSCI) and Journal of Chinese Economic and Business Studies, and a member of the editorial boards of Asia and Global Economy, Journal of Economic Studies, and Journal of International Trade and Diplomacy. He is also the associate editor of International Review of Financial Analysis (SSCI). He has previously served as the editor-in-chief of Emerging Markets Finance and Trade (SSCI), senior editor of International Journal of Emerging Markets (SSCI), co-editor of Comparative Economic Studies, and a member of the editorial board of Journal of Comparative Economics (SSCI). Additionally, he has been a research consultant for international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank. His research areas mainly include economic development and policy, international finance and trade, financial markets and institutions, and emerging markets studies. He has published nearly 200 papers in top-tier and authoritative international journals.
