JUFE Graduate Student Wins the 2023 National MPAcc Outstanding Thesis Award

Recently, the National Steering Committee for Professional Degree Graduate Education in Accounting released the results of the selection of outstanding master's thesis for the accounting professional degree in 2023. A total of 26 theses nationwide were honored with this recognition. Under the careful guidance of Professor Yuan Yehu, graduate student Guo Binhui from the Accounting School of JUFE, class of 2020, wrote a thesis entitled Construction and Application Research of Data Asset Valuation Model Based on Multi-period Excess Earnings Method: A Case Study of Hundsun Electronics Inc., which won the 2023 National MPAcc Outstanding Thesis Award.

The selection of outstanding master's thesis for the national professional degree in accounting is led by the China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee and jointly organized by multiple institutions that train MPAcc students. The aim is to encourage case studies and theoretical innovation, continuously enhance the quality of MPAcc education, and it serves as an important indicator to measure the level of graduate education in accounting professional degree programs at various universities.

In recent years, the School of Accounting at JUFE has consistently made the guidance and writing of high-quality thesis papers one of the key focuses of its teaching work. Through the establishment of specialized thesis guidance programs, strengthening the integration of research and teaching, and encouraging faculty and students to participate in social practice and research, the school has effectively promoted a virtuous cycle of teaching through thesis, promoting research through thesis, assisting learning through thesis, and advancing development through thesis. This approach continuously enriches and optimizes the teaching resources, significantly driving the comprehensive improvement of the quality of education for master's students in accounting.
