Lecturer:Jiagang Ren, graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Wuhan University in 1982, received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Curie, France, in 1988, and is now a professor at the School of Mathematics, Sun Yat-sen University.
Prof. Jiagang Ren was awarded the Second Prize of Scientific and Technological Progress by the State Education Commission in 1991, the China Youth Science and Technology Award in 1995, the First Prize of the Fok Yingtung Foundation in 1996, the Outstanding Youth Foundation in 1997, and the Changjiang Distinguished Professor from 2000 to 2005. Prof. Ren Jiagang has been engaged in stochastic analysis and its applications for a long time. He has made a series of world advanced achievements in stochastic calculus and its applications, especially in the areas of proposed corollary analysis on Wiener space, Gevrey estimation of Wiener generalization, analytic generalization and distribution theory on infinite dimensional space, and probabilistic methods of thermonuclear stability, etc., and has received many awards and prizes in the journals of Annals of Probability, Probability Theory and Related Fields, Journal of Functional Analysis, and Stochastic Processes and their Applications.
