A letter of thanks from the China Foundation for Rural Development

Recently, the China Foundation for Rural Development sent a letter of thanks to JUFE for its contribution to the 100 Acts of Kindness and Warmth campaign in 2023 and awarded it the title of Outstanding Organizational Unit.

The letter pointed out that “JUFE New Great Wall Self-improvement Associations actively mobilized in this activity, organized a total of 2,320 volunteers, served 19,558 hours,and raised 60,415 yuan, ranking the sixth among the participating university associations . According to the letter, the achievement fully reflects the excellent JUFE spirit of educating people with morality, shows the strong sense of social responsibility of university students, and makes due contribution to the creation of a public welfare atmosphere for people and the revitalization of the countryside.

It is reported that in 2023, more than 80,000 student volunteers from 123 colleges and universities participated in the Act of Kindness 100 - Warmth Action, mobilized more than 200,000 members of the public to participate in donations, raised 1,684,700 yuan, and sent 16,800 art parcels to underdeveloped areas.
