Zhou Chenggang, CEO of New Oriental, Lectured with the Theme of "Glimpse of World Famous universities" at JUFE

On the evening of December 14, the Global Competence Series of Go global - Glimpse of World Famous universities Visit, which was jointly organized by the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and Nanchang New Oriental School, was held in the auditorium of Jiaoqiao campus. JUFE Vice president Liu Xiaoli attended the event and delivered a speech. Zhou Chenggang, CEO of New Oriental Education and Technology Group, shared a summary of his team's heartfelt experience of visiting 20 countries and 200 world colleges and universities over a period of 10 years, which attracted nearly 1,200 teachers and students to the spot.

Liu Xiaoli pointed out that the world's unprecedented changes are accelerating, and JUFE is actively implementing the comprehensive strategy of international cooperation, hoping that more students of JUFE can grasp the opportunities of the times, and strive to become a high-quality talent with cross-cultural communication skills and international competitiveness.

During the lecture, Zhou Chenggang showed the teachers and students the photos recorded by his camera during his many years of overseas visits, and talked about the world-famous colleges and universities in the world, from Australia to Canada, the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, Japan, South Korea, China and other famous colleges and universities. He used a vivid picture to tell the story and details of the world's famous schools, and extended different educational concepts, which broadened everyone's horizons and spurred every young person with ideal pursuits. Zhou Chenggang expressed his hope that this lecture could inspire more JUFE teachers and students and help them establish international vision through international education, so that they could have certain competitiveness in the future which is full of uncertainty and make their future planning one more possibility.

Before the lecture, Vice President Liu Xiaoli met with Zhou Chenggang and his delegation in the Graphic and Information Building. Liu Xiaoli introduced to Zhou Chenggang the century-long development history of JUFE and the achievements of internationalized school running, and carried out in-depth exchanges on the sharing of high-quality overseas education resources and international language training, and signed an agreement on school-enterprise cooperation. Responsible comrades from International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Graduate School, Department of Student Affairs and Youth League Committee attended the meeting.

In recent years, JUFE has been actively implementing the comprehensive strategy of international cooperation, advocating the working concept of Go Global·Experience the world, and empowering students' success, teachers' growth and disciplinary development. JUFE vigorously promotes the cultivation of global competence of teachers and students, and systematically improves the internationalization vision and ability of teachers and students through organizing a series of lectures or salons in five aspects, namely, vision expansion, project interpretation, skill enhancement, peer guidance and cultural infiltration.
