CCTV and other Mainstream Media Covered JUFE’s Participation in the AR Special Effects Design of the Opening Ceremony of the 19th Asian Games

Recently, CCTV, China.com, China Daily, People's Daily Client, CCTV International Online, Jiangxi TV, Dajiang.com, Phoenix.com, the official Wechat account of Jiangxi Provincial Education Department, Jiangxi News Client and other mainstream media reported that JUFE contributed to the AR special effects design and production of the opening ceremony of 19th Asian Games.

The Opening Ceremony of the 19th Asian Games grandly opened in the beautiful Hangzhou city. Behind the "hard core" technology such as the first ever "digital-realistic fusion" ignition ceremony and the unique southern China characteristics of the canopy dome. It is noting that JUFE's Digital Media Art Studio participated in the design and production of the AR canopy for the opening ceremony of the Asian Games.

The ignition ceremony used the "digital and real fusion" technology for the first time. The digital people and real torchbearers on the scene ignite the sacred flame at the same time, therefore zero error must be achieved. The JUFE team members worked overnight every day; kept exploring and optimizing, timely summarized and analysed, repeatedly polished, toward a goal. In addition, the third part of the canopy dome, the AR floating belt, was also completed by the JUFE team.

Earlier, when the official poster of the 19th Asian Games in 2022 was officially released, the series of works The Realm of Fuchun created by Zhang Wei, a student of the Class 2018 visual communication major under the guidance of Mr. Zhang Guannan from the School of Arts, stood out from 1,789 works at home and abroad, and was successfully selected as the official poster of the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou in 2022.
