On June 28, the International Higher Education Research Institute QS (Quacquarelli Symmond) officially released its 2024 (20th edition) World University Rankings. JUFE partner universities, including University of Queensland (Australia, QS rank: 43) , University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign(USA, QS rank: 64) , University of Southampton (UK, QS rank: 81) , Moscow State University (Russia, QS rank: 87) , and University of Technology Sydney (Australia, QS rank: 90) ranked among the world's top 100 universities.
JUFE has established stable cooperation and exchange relations with more than 171 universities in more than 40 countries and regions. In recent years, more than 2,200 students have been selected to study overseas. Among the top 100 overseas partner institutions, JUFE and the University of Southampton have the longest cooperation history. The two sides signed the student exchange agreement for the first time since 2009, and successively carried out 2 + 2 double degree, 3 + 1 single-degree , 4 + 1 master’s program and 1 + 1 + 1 double master’s program. By September 2022, a total of 760 students went to Southampton University for exchange and study.
In 2018, JUFE and the University of Queensland signed the student exchange agreement for the first time, and selected a total of 3 people to participate in the 3 + 1 degree program in the University of Queensland. In 2019, JUFE established a cooperative relationship with University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and selected 10 students to participate in the 4 + 1 master's degree program every year. This year, JUFE continues to open a new chapter of cooperation with world-class universities. It has established inter-university cooperation with Moscow State University and the University of Technology Sydney to carry out scientific research, student joint-cultivating and other projects, and built a high-end platform for students' global competence enhancement.

The QS World University Rankings is an annual world university ranking published by Quacquarelli Symmond (QS), an international education market consulting firm, and was first published in 2004. The 2024 World University ranking covers 1,500 universities from 104 higher education systems, and is based on an analysis of more than 17.5 million academic papers and professional opinions from more than 240,000 scholars and employers.
