JUFE Celebrated the"International Museum Day"

The International Museum Day is celebrated on May 18 every year at JUFE. In order to promote excellent culture in universities and expand the cultural influence of museum, this year the JUFE Archives and Records Management Centre and Nanchang City Museum jointly held the International Museum Day.

JUFE Vice president Liu Xiaoli pointed out that the Creat Cultural Museum records a hundred years history of JUFE , alumni culture, as well as the culture of tax stamps and the promotion of integrity culture built on JUFE’s strength disciplines. The events enabled JUFE students and teachers to further know the excellent local cultural resources, enriching their cultural life. Liu Xiaoli expressed her gratitude to the Nanchang Museum and also looked forward to more extensive and in-depth cooperation with it.

The events included a mobile digital museum tour, expert lectures and special exhibitions, showcasing the natural scenery and humanistic history of Nanchang through various forms and rich carriers to students and teachers in a comprehensive and multi-angle manner, not only enhancing students' in-depth understanding of museums and historical knowledge, but also strengthen the public cultural service function of university museums and social museums.

The introduction of museum culture into universities is an important initiative taken by the JUFE Archives and Records Management Centre in recent years in the area of cultural and museum education. The Centre will continue to spread the museum culture and continue to cooperate with various social museums to enrich the resources and expand the ways of educating our students.
