JUFE Student Basketball Team Won 2023 Jiangxi Province CUBAL Championship

Recently, the 2023 Jiangxi Province College Basketball Competition and the First Student (Youth) Games of China (University Band) Basketball Provincial Selection Tournament kicked off at the Zhongchang Hongwang Basketball Court in Nanchang City. Under the guidance of the team leader Xu Xuchuan, Dean of the School of Physical Education at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, and coaches Gu Honggang ,Liu Hongyang, JUFE's women student basketball team won the 2023 Jiangxi Province CUBAL championship.

In the five-day group stage, the team was fearless and courageous, winning in each game by leading the opponents a large margin and laying a foundation for future cross-matches and finals.

On April 26th, our team encountered opponents from Jingdezhen Ceramic University in the semifinals. In the first two quarters of the game, the two sides clashed fiercely and the score was difficult to widen. However, after a calm analysis and deployment by the coach during halftime, we finally extended the lead completely after the third quarter, and locked the victory.

On April 27th, the finals officially kicked off. Our team and the Jinggangshan University women's basketball team competed in the final showdown. The final match was extremely exciting and intense, as the players from our team demonstrated their highest level of individual and teamwork skills. After four quarters of intense battle, our team defeated Jinggangshan University with a score of 51:47, winning the seventh consecutive provincial competition and the 2023 Jiangxi Province CUBAL championship.

On the court, the players were fiercely competing and performing outstandingly, believing that every second was a new beginning and every minute held hope. Off the court, the coaches understood the situation and adjusted precisely to strengthen and magnify each team player's advantages. The substitute players held their breath, stood ready, preparing to take over at any time. The spectators from JUFE were passionate, shouting and cheering to give the maximum support to the women's basketball team. Students and teachers from JUFE fully demonstrated the sports spirit of striving to be the first, never giving up, surpassing oneself, and striving for excellence.
