"Closer to China, Closer to Jiangxi" - "Chinese Bridge" Online Cultural Exchange Program Closing Ceremony Held

​On the afternoon of February 28th, the closing ceremony of Closer to China, Closer to Jiangxi - Chinese Bridge Online Cultural Exchange Program, hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and undertaken by JUFE, was held. The ceremony was attended by JUFE Vice President Liu Xiaoli, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, and head of the School of Humanities. Director of the Chinese Department of Hanoi Normal University, Vietnam, Wu Thi Qingzhi, and nearly 100 foreign students from 5 countries gathered online. The closing ceremony was presided over by Jiang Guohe, Dean of the School of Humanities.

On behalf of JUFE, Liu Xiaoli expressed her congratulations on the successful conclusion of the program, extending her gratitude to the attendees and project team. She discussed ideas about Chinese language and character, Chinese cultural characteristics and Jiangxi cultural characteristics of the course which are interlinked and independent. She also welcomed all students to visit China and JUFE.

Wu Thi Qingzhi, Director of the Chinese Department of Hanoi Normal University, Vietnam, spoke on behalf of foreign teachers. She thanked the Ministry of Education of China and JUFE for providing foreign students with this opportunity to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture. She expressed hopes to come back to China in the future and looked forward to establishing educational cooperation with JUFE.

The program was well-received by the participating students, among which 7 student representatives shared their gains and feedback in turn at the closing ceremony.
