"China Tax System" Virtual Teaching and Research Office Selected as First Batch of National Construction Pilots

Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of the first batch of pilot projects for the construction of virtual teaching and research offices nationwide, and 439 were selected. The virtual teaching and research office of the “China Tax System” course led by Professor Wang Qiao was successfully selected in this program, becoming one of the three approved ones in Jiangxi Province.

The China Tax System course is now a national first-class, online excellent course. The course teaching and research achievement, Exploration and Practice of China Tax System Course Teaching Reform, won the second prize of National Teaching Achievement Award in 2014. This is another important achievement of JUFE's China tax system course construction and the construction of taxation major.

The Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education started the pilot construction program of virtual teaching and research offices in 2022 to further cultivate people with morality, to improve the ability of talents as the core, to rely on modern information technology, and to explore the construction standards, construction paths, and operation modes of new grass-roots teaching organizations in the smart + era. The department strives to build a national higher education virtual teaching and research information platform in 3-5 years, and build a group of virtual teaching and research offices with advanced concepts, create comprehensive coverage and complete functions. Among the 439 virtual teaching and research offices selected in the first batch, there are 237 courses (groups) in the teaching category, 137 in the program construction category, and 65 in the teaching and research reform category.
