JUFE Starts an Investigation on the International Development of Higher Education

​On the afternoon of May 7th, JUFE launched a mobilization and deployment meeting for the investigation of the international development of higher education. The meeting was presided over by Xiao Long, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE) and attended by vice-president Liu Xiaoli along with members of other related departments.

Liu Xiaoli emphasized the significance of this investigation and put forward four-point requirements on how to collect data. First, attach great importance to internationalization of higher education and seek the correct political stance. Second, complete and submit the data on time. Third, provide accurate and detailed support materials to ensure the accuracy of the data. Fourth, cooperate with each other to offer logical information. All units must seize the opportunity to find our weaknesses, optimize the working methods, and improve JUFE’s internationalization.

The investigation includes the 2019 and 2020 international development status initiated by the International Department of the Ministry of Education, and the 2020 Jiangxi Higher Education Internationalization Evaluation. The staff of the OICE made a clear division of labor and gave detailed explanation of the materials that each unit needs to provide.
