I. Overview

The College of Modern Economics and Management of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics is an undergraduate college with economics and management as its main disciplines as well as law, engineering, literature and arts developing in a coordinated way. Founded in 2001, the college is an independent school approved by the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province. Since 2016, it has been jointly run by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and Zhonghang Culture Investment Co., Ltd. in Gongqingcheng City.

The college currently has eight teaching departments, covering accounting, economics, business administration, literature and law, foreign languages, information management, ideological and political theory teaching, and physical education.

II. Faculty

 The college boasts 190 faculty members, including 37 associate professors and professors and 20 double-employed professors, part-time professors, and guest professors.

2. Outstanding Alumni

1) Wang Lan studied law at the College of Modern Economics and Management in 2002 and now serves as the founding partner of Shanghai Lebang Law Firm and the partner of Time Capsule Cafe.

2) Luo Zengxin studied international trade and economics in 2003 and currently acts as the general manager of Shenzhen Hujin Gongchang Financial Services Co., Ltd.

3) Lin Shouchang was matriculated in marketing in 2003 and now serves as the general manager of Lv Xing (Beijing) Fund Management Co., Ltd.

4) Yang Daowei, a marketing student matriculated in 2003, now holds the posts of the chairman of Gansu Dahan Ecological Environment Co., Ltd., and the president of Gansu Alumni Association of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

5) Deng Meirong was matriculated in information management and information system in 2003 and founded History Coffee after his graduation.

6) Chen Yanping, a marketing student enrolled in 2004, established Fuzhou Sanren Network Technology Co., Ltd. and invested in Fujian Zhongfu Financial Services Co., Ltd. and Fujian Wangtuo E-commerce Co., Ltd.

7) Guo Gengzhi studied computer science and technology in 2004 and currently serves as the general manager of Mingren Wine Co., Ltd.

8) Wan Liang, an e-commerce student enrolled in 2007, currently serves as national e-commerce engineer, Jiangxi e-commerce trainer, e-commerce practical instructor of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and professor of Jiangxi Modern Polytechnic University.

9) Yang Guang, a tourism management student matriculated in 2010, founded Nanchang Qihang Community Volunteer Association, Nanchang Qihang Charity Development Center as well as Nanchang Zhonglang Information Consulting Company and now acts as the executive director and general manager of Jiangxi Langqiao Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. 

10) Liu Weibin, a finance student matriculated in 2012, established Jiangxi Cuckoo Technology Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Bogu Alliance Information Technology Co., Ltd., Hefei Huaisheng Technology Co., Ltd., and Jiangxi Shengjiang Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd.
