Members of the China Education Association for International Exchange Visited JUFE

On the morning of December 24^th, Deputy Secretary-general of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE) Yu Yougen led a delegation of 3 to JUFE to familiarize themselves with JUFE’s internationalization endeavors. Vice President Liu Xiaoli chaired a symposium and invited leaders of the International Office of the Education Department of Jiangxi Province, the international office and the Overseas Education School of JUFE for briefing and exchanges.

Liu Xiaoli extended warm welcome to their coming, and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the support of CEAIE and the Department of Education of Jiangxi Province. Then, she briefed the participants on JUFE’s efforts, achievements and difficulties in boosting internationalization in recent years, and hoped that the two parties could offer more help to JUFE.

Yu Yougen complimented what JUFE has achieved in internationalization, and introduced the history and tasks of the CEAIE. He pointed out that the CEAIE would continue to honor Xi Jinping’s requirement to build quality international education  by supporting international cooperation and exchanges among universities. Furthermore, he expected that JUFE would participate in various activities held by CEAIE, and promote sound cooperation with world-renowned universities with the help of CEAIE resources.

In the end, Xiao Long, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange and Ye Weihua, director of the Overseas Education School, had in-depth exchanges with the delegation on the problems encountered in actual work.
