Two JUFE Faculty Members Selected into the Talent Pool for College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cultivation

​On the morning of October 28th, the top 30 of the Instructors’ Skills Training and Demonstration for 2020 Jiangxi College Students’ Internet+Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was selected. Wang Shubai from the School of International Trade and Economics and Hu Jun from the School of Finance won second and third prize respectively. Additionally, the two JUFE faculty members found their names in the instructor pool for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship built by the Education Department of Jiangxi Province.

Initiated in April and themed Demonstrating Instructors’ Skills and Cultivating Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talents Based on Market Demand, this event aims to serve socio-economic development through education, enable higher institutions to offer better guidance and service for college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship as well as cultivate excellent instructors in this regard. The efforts made in building instructor teams have injected new impetus for innovation and entrepreneurship into the instructor pool.

The competition consists of three sessions, namely Online Theme-based Training, “Assessment for Final Advancement and On-site Skills Demonstration. Having been through online theme-based training for a month, 275 out of nearly 300 teachers across the province participated in the two rounds of assessment, which required them to score the investment value of 10 cases regarding business startups. After fierce competition, 30 teachers advanced to the final in which they needed to give impromptu comments and analysis on a case in a time limit of 5 minutes. JUFE faculty Wang Shubai and Hu Jun gained judges’ recognition for their strong performance and expertise.
