JUFE Secures 25 National Social Science Fund Projects
Recently, the list of approved projects for the 2026 National Social Science Fund of China has been released. JUFE has obtained a total of 25 project approvals, including 1 Key Project, 16 General Projects and 8 Youth Projects. The total number of approved projects increased steadily compared with last year.
The approved projects cover 13 disciplines. There are 5 projects in Applied Economics, 4 in Statistics, 4 in Sociology, and 3 in the Study of the History of the Communist Party of China and Party Building. One project each was granted in Management, Science, Technology and Society, Theoretical Economics, Marxist Theory, Ethnology, Journalism and Communication, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Political Science. The number of covered disciplines has risen from 11 last year to 13, further expanding the scope of disciplinary coverage. This achievement stems from the continuous accumulation of the collaborative development of multiple disciplines in the humanities and social sciences at JUFE.
The 25 projects are distributed across 9 schools. The School of Social Sciences and Humanities has 6 projects; the School of Statistics and Data Science and the School of Marxism each have 4; the School of Finance and Taxation and the School of Accounting each have 3; the School of Public Administration has 2; and the School of Finance, School of Economics, and School of Design and Art each have 1. Notably, the number of Youth Projects has increased from 6 to 8, accounting for nearly one-third of the total approved projects. A group of young teachers is thus transitioning from a fresh force in research to the backbone of scientific inquiry
