JUFE Holds 2026 Alumni Culture Festival and Homecoming Reunion
JUFE's 2026 Alumni Culture Festival and Homecoming Reunion started warmly on the morning of October 2 in the Grand Auditorium of Jiaoqiao Campus. Over a thousand alumni from 56 classes — including the cohorts of 1982, 1992, 2002, and 2012 — traveled across mountains and seas to return to their alma mater, making a long-awaited reunion with their youth, reliving their campus days, and renewing their deep bond with JUFE. Attendees included Liu Yaobin, Chairman; Deng Hui, President; Vice Presidents Yuan Honglin, Li Chungen, He Danjun, and Fang Yuming; and former Vice President Que Shandong.

During the event, 31 recipients of the third "Most Beautiful Class Monitor" award were commended. Liu Yaobin and Deng Hui jointly presented medals to the "Most Beautiful Class Monitors " and expressed their gratitude to those monitors for their positive role in strengthening class cohesion and supporting JUFE's development.

On behalf of JUFE, Deng Hui extended a warm welcome to the alumni returning home. He noted that since the 14th Five-Year Plan period, JUFE, grounded in the historical position of staring its "third entrepreneurship," has advanced discipline development from isolated breakthroughs to cluster-wide rise, talent cultivation from scale expansion to quality-focused improvement, social service from responding to demand to co-creating value, and international cooperation from exchanges to substantive collaboration. He introduced JUFE's "2363" overall development framework for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, and elaborated on the alumni work philosophy of "leaping from academic ties to partnership" from four dimensions: academic bonds as the foundation, shared values as the core, an active ecosystem, and institutional safeguards. He expressed his hope that alumni and JUFE would forge ahead hand in hand and sail forward side by side, together writing a new chapter in JUFE "third entrepreneurship" and its pursuit of first-class excellence.

Li Chungen remarked that alumni traveling across mountains and seas to return to their alma mater on this red land allows them to relive their youthful years while expressing patriotic devotion to country and home. During the National Day holiday, university leaders as well as faculty and staff from all departments have stayed on campus to welcome alumni home — a cherished cultural tradition unique to JUFE. Today, more than a thousand alumni have returned to campus to renew their bonds as classmates and discuss the university's development, making this JUFERs connection that spans the years all the more profound.

To express gratitude to teachers for their nurturing care and tireless cultivation, the event included a flower-presentation segment for faculty representatives. Alumni representatives came to the stage one by one to present bouquets to class advisor representatives and course instructor representatives. Each bouquet carried the alumni's heartfelt gratitude to their beloved teachers, and the scene brought back warm and beautiful campus memories.
After the ceremony, teachers, students, and alumni presented a wonderful and diverse artistic performance. Singing and dancing, they reminisced about their youthful years and expressed their sincere affection for and pride in their alma mater.
