JUFE and Jiangxi Copper Corporation Limited Hold Symposium on University-Enterprise Cooperation

On September 10, JUFE held a symposium on university-enterprise cooperation with Jiangxi Copper Corporation. Participants conducted in-depth exchanges on the business development and legal risk prevention and control of Jiangxi Copper Corporation discussed issues including the construction of databases, knowledge bases and digital penetration technology, and identified the directions for future cooperation between the two sides. The symposium was chaired by JUFE President Deng Hui. Peng Xihong, Chief Legal Officer of Jiangxi Copper, attended the meeting.

Deng Hui put forward a cooperation framework under which JUFE will leverage its strengths in applied economics, law and data science to support the enterprise’s risk management and regional economic development. He noted that the symposium marks a promising start for the two sides to deepen industry-university-research cooperation. JUFE will give full play to its disciplinary advantages in finance and economics, data science and law, connect with the diverse business scenarios of Jiangxi Copper, and jointly advance collaborative research and achievement transformation in risk management, so as to achieve complementary strengths and mutual benefits.

Peng Xihong systematically introduced the major challenges confronting Jiangxi Copper Group in legal risk prevention and control, and put forward work demands for the digital and intelligent transformation of risk management in light of the enterprise’s realities.

The convening of this symposium marks a solid step forward in university-enterprise cooperation between JUFE and Jiangxi Copper. In the next phase, both sides will further strengthen communication and coordination, promote the implementation and effectiveness of specific cooperation projects, and jointly contribute to serving the high-quality economic and social development of Jiangxi Province.
