JUFE delegation led by Chairman Liao Jinqiu Paid a visit to Italy and Spain

On the invitation of Università degli Studi di Urbino and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, a JUFE delegation led by Chairman of JUFE ,Professor Liao Jinqiu visited these two universities from 21 to 28 September 2013.Professor Yuan Xiong, Director of Presidents’ Office, Professor Luo Liangqing, Dean of School of statistics, Prof. Guo Qingfeng, Vice Director of Presidents’ Office ,Professor Zeng Jianping,Vice Dean of Foreign School of JUFE were the members of JUFE delegation.

During the visit in Università degli Studi di Urbino,Italy, Professor Liao Jinqiu signed an MOU with the President of the University ,Mr. Stefano Pivato on the base of Intensive communication with Mr. Fabrizio Maci, Director of International Office, Mr. Ivo Klaver and Mr. Claus Ehrhardt, Professors of Foreign Language School and Mr. Giorgio Calcagnin, Professor of School of Economics and Business. The two sides agreed that the two universities could carry out the substantive cooperation in the areas such as exchange students, scientific research, exchange faculties. Prof. Liao Jinqiu invited the President and vice President to visit JUFE at their convenient time. They all accepted the invitation enjoyably.

              

JUFE has had a friendly relationship with Universidad Rey Juan Carlos,Spain. During the visit in this university, Prof Liao made a friendly communication with the Vice President, Dr. Angel Gil de Miguel, Mr. Emilio Navarro, the Vice Dean of School of Economics, Professor Rocio Gallego, the Coordinator of School of Business Administration, Ms. Rosa Mesa, the Director of International Relations Services Center, Mr. Gustavo Galiani, the Director of International Relations Marketing Center and the International Program Coordinator, Miss Wang Chen. The both sides were very satisfied with the student exchange programs we had carried out and made a communication on expanding the scale of student exchanges, setting up a Confucius institute at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos,Spain, the exchange of visiting scholars ,research cooperation and other cooperative projects.
During the visit, Professor Liao visited the business incubator Center of the University which was set up by the local government and a base of running business and internship for students. This mode of cooperation between government and university was worth of studying.
