The delegation of Oulu University Visited JUFE

A delegation headed by Professor Petri Sahlström, dean of the Business School of Oulu University, Finland, visited JUFE during Nov,24,2013 to Nov, 28, 2013. Mr. Petri Tapani SAHLSTRÖM, Mr. Janne Tapio JÄRVINEN, Professor, Department of Accounting, Ms Vuokko Elisa IINATTI, Director of Studies, and Ms. Fan WANG, International Master Programme Coordinator were in the team.

Mr. Petri Sahlström attended Jiangxi 90th anniversary of JUFE on behalf of Oulu University, presented a gift and made a wish to JUFE. Vice President, Prof. Yi Jiandong met the delegation. He appreciated the efforts that Mr. Petri Sahlström and three other visitors have done for the mutual cooperation between the two universities. Prof. Yi said that Internationalization is one of the key strategies of JUFE and he hoped that the two universities can be more associated and cooperated on programs of Staff and Students exchange as well as on Academic Research. Prof. Xiao Long, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange also attended the meeting.

During the visit, the delegation from Oulu met with School of Public Finance and Public Administration, School of International Economics and Trade, School of Finance and School of Economics. They communicated and discussed about the exchange of the postgraduates and doctoral students, research cooperation, staff exchange, summer camp and other programs. They made agreements on building further collaboration between the institutes of the two universities. On Oct,28th, the delegation gave a lecture of programs of Studying in Oulu at School of Finance of JUFE.
