The 2013 JUFE High Education Internationalization Conference was held

In the afternoon on 26 December, the 2013 JUFE High Education Internationalization Conference was held, with theme of “facing to the world and winning in the future”, with the goal of summarizing the development of the JUFE’s internationalization in the recent years and improving its level to a new stage. The senior leaders of JUFE, Mr. Wang Qiao, Mr. Wang Jinhua, Mr. Wu Zhaoyun, Mr. Yi Xiaoming, Mr. Jiang Jinfa, Mr. Yi Jiandong, Mr. Deng Hui, Mr.Que Shandong, Mr. Li Liangzhi attended the conference. The directors and deans of the schools and departments of JUFE attended the conference as well. Vice president of JUFE, Prof. Yi Jiandong hosted the conference.

President of JUFE, Prof. Wang Qiao gave a lecture in the conference. He pointed out that OICE (Office of International Cooperation and Exchange) did a lot of intensive work for the conference, supplying three analysis reports concerning JUFE’s internationalization with detailed data and rich contents. Professor Wang asked that every department of JUFE must know the importance and urgency of internationalization, the heads of JUFE departments should be the first persons responsible for the internationalization, improving exactly JUFE’s internationalization level.
Vice president of JUFE, Prof. Jiang Jinfa read out the JUFE’s decision of commending the departments and schools which did an excellent job on constructing their English websites. Vice chairman of JUFE, Prof. Wang Jinhua awarded the certificates of honor to the International School, International Financial Management Research Institution, School of Economics, School of Finance and School of Foreign Languages.

Director of the office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Education Department of Jiangxi Province, Mr. Chen Ming gave a lecture with the theme of Jiangxi education internationalization. He gave a high praise to JUFE for its achievements on internationalization and introduced the developments of internationalization of Jiangxi province. He thought that high education internationalization need us to broaden the horizon, formulate the scientific development strategy and construct the international talents’ training goal and course system. He also gave us suggestions of internationalization’s direction and principle in the conference.

Prof. Xiao Long, director of Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of JUFE gave a report in the conference, introducing the achievements and weakness of JUFE on internationalization. The vice deans of International School and International Economics and Trade School gave speeches as well, introducing their experience on internationalization.
In the end, the director of Publicity Department of JUFE, Mr. Wang Jinhai and vice dean of School of Accounting, Prof. Cao Yushan shared their experience of studying and living abroad with the attendees.
It’s reported that in order to improve the internationalization of JUFE, a team led by President Wang Qiao was founded in order to lead and coordinate JUFE’s internationalization.
