JUFE 2012 Summer Tour in USA

The 2012 USA Summer Tour was jointly run by JUFE and Arcadia University（AU）―one of our partner universities in the USA, and it has now successfully come to an end with the 13 participants arriving safely at Beijing airport on 8th departure from New York Kennedy Airport on 6th August. It is one of summer programs among those offered by JUFE, which covered 21 days in studying and traveling in the USA.

The participants, through all the activities carried out in the East part of USA, has enlarged their horizon by learning and communicating with the local teachers and students in Arcadia University and traveling in other cities as well. The travelling along the east coast cities enriched their knowledge of how to learn to view and tackle some difficult problems from different respects.

The participants have tasted the inside cultural information about the national capital; also they felt the unusual elegant appearance of the sea bay in Boston; they have experienced the human cultural thoughts and feelings of the free people from the New York City; they have appreciated the shocks created by the Niagara Falls―one of the world wonders.

The most impressive part is that they have lived for more than one week on the campus of Arcadia University situated in Philadelphia―old capital of United States. Apart from that the participants attended the several classes on each topic on international marketing, American history and culture, language learning skills, with the local students.

In general, after all the activities in the university they have established friendly relationship with their local counterparts. The program has brought a chance to harmonize those with different skin-colors, different languages, different thoughts and different characters. What have been left in their hearts after all by this summer program are the sparks created thereafter and the better understanding of the cultural differences between two countries.
