Ms. Charley Robinson from University of Essex visited JUFE

Ms. Charley Robinson，from International Office of University of Essex, our partner university in the UK, came to visit our university (Jufe) on October 29, 2012. The discussion has been hold in the morning with our coordinator from the Office of International cooperation and Exchange, during which the followings have been initiated and talked about in more details. The meeting is regarded by both sides as a constructive and fruitful one.

It has been proposed that around 15 students from Essex would be exchanged to our university in 2015 for one academic year. It is more likely that they will come to our university as we will have prepared a certain number of business courses, quite a lot of Chinese language and cultural courses. Both sides agreed to get prepared in terms of program promotion and more qualified English taught courses in JUFE.

The possibilities of establishing a reversed 2+2 program with JUFE has also been looked at during the meeting as the huge potentiality of job and business market in China and the cheaper tuition fee in Jufe will attract more and more UK students to come to China for education and career development. Jufe will not miss the chance to set up a number of specialized courses taught in English for the incoming students to meet the needs of market in the international context.

Jufe has certainly been touched off to think about the challenge and chances in the future involvement in close cooperation with the University of Essex.
