Artevelde University College Ghent Delegation Visited Our University

On January 4th, William Van Vooren，Head of the Department of the Bachelors of Business Management and Office Management, Griet Naeyaert and Hilde Eeckhout, International Relations Officers, visited our university. President Wang Qiao met with the visitors in the university VIP guest room.

President Wang expressed warmly welcome toward the first visit of the guests from our Belgium partner. He said that the three exchange students from Artevelde University College Ghent has spent almost one semester at JUF, and that they actively participated in the university’s activities such as the Sports Tournament, which has set a good example for other overseas students. He also said that our university will select excellent students to study at Belgium in the new academic year. Mr. William Van Vooren said that the student exchange program would certainly promote the cooperation and exchange between the two universities，and even promote the cooperation and exchange between China and the European Union. He put forward the suggestion of conducting faculty exchange and extending the cooperation into more disciplines.

The visitors visited the Office of Cooperation and Exchange during their stay and discussed the details of the student exchange program with the program coordinators. They also explored the details of faculty exchange with Mr. Chen Weidong, Vice Dean of International School. They also had an opportunity to visit upon the Overseas Students Residence and had lunch with the three exchange students. They were happy to learn that all the three students enjoyed their stay at JUFE.
