Griffith University Delegation from Australia Visits JUFE

​On October 17th, Professor Rosalind Archer, Dean of the Faculty of Science at Griffith University, and his delegation visited our university. Vice President Fang Yuming attended the meeting online and delivered a speech, while Director Gong Meijun of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office presided over the meeting. The heads and professional teachers of the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, Virtual Reality (VR) Modern Industry College, School of Software and Internet of Things Engineering , Information Management and Mathematics College, and School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence accompanied the discussion.

On behalf of JUFE, Fang Yuming warmly welcomed delegation from Griffith University to visit JUFE and had in-depth exchanges on further deepening cooperation between the two universities in talent cultivation, co building research centers, and other fields. He hopes that in the future, the two universities will further strengthen mutual visits and exchanges, gradually expanding from promoting teacher-student exchanges to cooperation in research fields.

Professor Rosalind Archer expressed gratitude for the warm reception of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and highly praised the outstanding achievements of JUFE in international education and talent cultivation. She stated that this visit is to further promote the cooperative relationship between two universities, especially in the field of international scientific research cooperation. She hopes that in the future, with the joint efforts of both sides, the cooperative relationship can be pushed to new heights.

After the symposium, Professor Rosalind Archer and his delegation visited the School of Virtual Reality (VR) Modern Industry and conducted academic workshops with representatives from the School of Information Management and Mathematics and the School of Computer and Artificial Intelligence.

Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and Griffith University have maintained a close cooperative relationship in the internationalization of education. The visit of this delegation has injected new impetus into the future cooperation between the two sides. With the joint efforts of both parties, the cooperation between our university and Griffith University will continue to deepen, making greater contributions to cultivating more specialized technical talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural communication abilities.
