The forum, themed Building a Financial Power, was divided into the main forum, the Academic Salon of Economics and Management Journals, the Academic Paper Symposium Sub-forum, and the Seminar on Building a Financial Power and the 'Five Major Articles' of Bill Services. The main forum featured a keynote speech on Capital Markets in a Financial Power and a roundtable dialogue on Building a Financial Power. Wu Xiaoqiu, President of the National Institute of Financial Research at Renmin University of China, a first-level professor in humanities and social sciences, and former Vice President, along with over a hundred experts, scholars, and paper authors from all over the country participate in this forum.

Deng Hui, on behalf of JUFE, extended profound respect and a warm welcome to all the leaders, experts, and guests attending the forum, expressing heartfelt gratitude for their long-standing support and assistance. He noteed that the Ganjiang River Financial High-end Forum is one of JUFE's important academic activities and a significant measure to implement the strategic cooperation agreement between the Jiangxi Provincial Government and Renmin University of China on jointly building the Jiangxi Financial Research Institute of Modern Finance. The rise of a great nation relied on the crucial support of a robust financial system. To advance China's modernization in a Chinese way, there was a need to promote high-quality financial development and accelerate the construction of a financially strong nation. Deng Hui looks forward to experts gathering around the theme of Building a Financial Strong Nation, engaging in collective discussions and mutual exchanges, offering suggestions for the construction of a financially strong nation, and playing an active role in promoting the high-quality development of financial work in Jiangxi in the new era.

Wu Xiaqiu delivered a keynote speech titled Capital Markets in a Financial Power. He emphasized that becoming a financial power was a challenging yet remarkable goal with two main pillars: The first one was the internationalization of the Renminbi. Wu stressed the importance of a sound legal environment, contractual spirit, and market transparency for the Renminbi's internationalization. It was also essential to balance the security threshold of foreign exchange reserves with Renminbi internationalization. And the second one was the development of advanced, transparent, and open capital markets. He also highlighted the strategic significance of capital market development, emphasizing the role of robust capital markets in facilitating fund inflows and asset allocation in support of Renminbi internationalization. Wu pointed out the initial misalignment in China's capital market positioning, leading to systemic issues that require significant reforms encompassing ideologies, systems, rules, policies, and tools. He mentioned the shift towards a registration-based IPO system as a positive step but stressed the need for severe law. Wu expressed confidence that through marketization, rule of law, and internationalization reforms, China's capital markets would continue to grow and mature, with the potential to become a key global hub for wealth management, laying a solid foundation for the country's financial power ambitions.

In the afternoon, a scholarly seminar was divided into six session rooms. Five of these rooms were dedicated to academic paper discussions, with over fifty paper authors from universities across the country, along with local teachers and postgraduate students attending the event. The academic viewpoints at each session collided and exchanged continually, creating a strong academic atmosphere. The theme of the sixth session was The Development of China's Independent Financial Knowledge System and High-Quality Management Journals, with participation from directors of ten journals.

The forum was attended by over a hundred experts, scholars, and paper authors from all over the country, who shared their academic views in their respective fields. The successful hosting of the forum facilitated academic exchanges, created a favorable academic atmosphere, and provided an excellent platform for communication for both faculty and students, offering new insights to continuously support the building of a strong financial nation.
