On May 4th, the People's Daily published a list of outstanding representatives of National Scholarship winners, including 100 graduate students, 100 undergraduate and college students, and 100 secondary vocational school students. Yuan Xiaoxuan, a Class 2023 student majoring in International Accounting in the International School of JUFE, was listed, and was the only undergraduate in our province to make the list.
Yuan Xiaoxuan, a student of the International Accounting Major of the International School, JUFE, has achieved excellent academic performance during her time at JUFE. She ranked first in her major for the weighted average scores for the first three years and was recommended to pursue a master's degree at Tsinghua University without examination. She has won a silver award in China International Internet+ Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a first prize in the National English Contest for College Students, and presided over one national-level innovation and entrepreneurship project for college students. Her paper was accepted by the CPCI International Conference. During her time at JUFE, she has been awarded National Scholarships, Yonyou Scholarship, Academic Star, Outstanding Student, Excellent League Member, and other honorary titles.
National Scholarship is the highest honor for students of higher learning. It has the most standardized evaluation and the most strict standards. Every year, there are more than 2,000 universities in China, and nearly 27 million students competing for 60,000 national scholarships, and the proportion of awards is only 0.2%.
It is reported that after rigorous selection and review, 45,000 graduate students, 60,000 undergraduate and vocational college students, and 20,000 outstanding secondary vocational school students were awarded the National Scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. The People's Daily List of Outstanding Representatives of National Scholarship Students is composed of 100 outstanding representatives selected from 60,000 outstanding national scholarship-winning undergraduate and vocational college students recommended by all provinces and universities throughout the country.
