From February 16th to 18th, the 23rd China Annual Conference & Expo for  International Education, sponsored by the China Education Association for International Exchange, was held in Beijing. The theme of this year's conference was Adaptation and Change - Reshaping Our Education. And it has attracted global education elites, representatives from government, enterprises, and all sectors of society. Liu Xiaoli, Vice President of JUFE, led a team to attend the conference. The team members include Gong Meijun, Director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange (OICE), Jiang Guohe, Dean of the School of Humanities, Liu Xiaobing, Deputy Director of the OICE, and related staff.

In a video speech, Huai Jinpeng, Minister of Education, pointed out that win-win cooperation is always the main theme of the development of the times. All countries must seize the trend of the times, and constantly enhance the resilience of education development. He proposed three initiatives: first, fully play the active role of platforms and closely cooperate in education. All countries can participate in education cooperation under the framework of multilateral mechanisms, strengthen interconnection and communication in the field of education, and promote the common development of global education. Second, comprehensively deepen cooperation in digital education and promote modernization of education. By using information technology, high-quality education resources can be effectively expanded to more areas, and cooperation can be used to improve the digital literacy and capabilities of teachers and students, achieve higher quality, more equitable, and inclusive development of education. Third, carry out exchanges and mutual learning to solidify the foundation of cooperation. Countries should strengthen understanding on international education and enhance their cross-cultural communication capabilities. Innovative design of more exchange programs will continue to deepen mutual understanding and friendship, and promote the construction of a more open and inclusive world.

During their stay in Beijing, the participating representatives of JUFE also visited the CCG (Globalization Think Tank) and the China Office of the University of Essex. Our representatives discussed cooperation matters with representatives from universities such as Northeast State University in the United States, Auckland University of Technology in New Zealand, Trinity Saint David University in Wales, University of Leicester in the UK, SKEMA Business School in France, and Belarusian National Technical University at the EXPO.
