The 11-day 16th Jiangxi Provincial Sports Games recently concluded in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. JUFE participated in 12 major competitions, and won 14 gold medals, 13 silver medals, 9 bronze medals, and a total of 78 awards, marking a new history. Among them, Wen Jie, a senior student of the School of Accountancy, won two gold medals in the undergraduate women’s A group 10,000 meters and 3,000 meters. The air volleyball team won the championship of men and women in the undergraduate group A with a record of clean sweep. The tennis team won the men’s B team championship. The taekwondo team won four golds, three silvers and three bronzes, the first place in the overall score of the undergraduate group A team, and the Sports Ethics Award.
